With thousands of pallets handled daily, some manual work is still necessary — especially with tall, double-stacked formats. That’s where the lift tables come in. They adjust the working height of each pallet so employees avoid bending down or reaching too high.
“It’s made a big difference,” says Andreas Hellström, Quality Coordinator at Dagab.
“We can lower the pallets below floor level or raise them up — whatever’s needed to reduce strain.”
The lift tables are especially valuable during high-volume campaigns, such as seasonal fruit deliveries, when pickers often need to unload entire pallets by hand.

“Before, we would have to stretch or bend to reach the top and bottom boxes,” Andreas explains.
“Now we handle everything in a smoother, more ergonomic way — it’s clearly improved the work environment.”
And because these tasks happen frequently and at high pace, the benefits add up fast.
Engineered for Reliability
The lift tables, supplied by Marco — a SIGI Europe brand — were installed with durability and safety in mind. The hydraulic units were even placed on the opposite side of the wall, protecting them from forklifts and improving workspace efficiency.
“Everything from positioning to installation was tailored to fit the site,” says Patrik Johansson from SIGI Europe, who led the installation.
“It was a smart and durable solution.”

Since installation, the lift tables have worked continuously without a single issue. No downtime. No resets. Just reliable, ergonomic lifting every day — exactly as intended.
“They just work,” Andreas confirms.
“We haven’t had to do anything — not even reset the power.”
